"Got this for my 10-year-old..."
I picked this up for my 10-year-old daughter, and she absolutely adores it! The board is large, the colors pop, and the pieces feel solid. I’d definitely suggest it!

"Gift for my son and his new wife..."
I got this as a present for my son and his new wife, who he's showing how to play chess. They really enjoy the set. The pieces have a nice weight to them, and the build quality is solid.

"Really enjoyed the chess set I got..."
I really enjoyed the chess set I purchased, but there was a hiccup—the top crown of my King piece was broken and it's in 'Beige' color. I'd appreciate it if you could send me a replacement for just that piece as soon as possible. Also, the green bag I got to carry my set is super nice. Overall, this set is quite professional.

I totally recommend Violet Crown Chess. Shipping was super quick. My portable chess set is fantastic; the pieces feel great and are just the right size. The playing mat is made of durable vinyl with a non-slip backing, rolls up easily, and fits perfectly in the lovely green carrying case. The clock and game notebook are awesome too. I'm confident this will hold up for many years to come.

"My second time buying this amazing set!"
This is actually my second time getting this gorgeous set. I adore everything about it. It's fantastic to be able to leave the pieces arranged, close it up, and then reopen to pick up the same game later. The pieces are beautifully carved, and the whole board set box is just stunning. I also really dig the green cloth on either side when the set is open; it looks great and serves a purpose. The magnets that keep the set closed are super strong and work really well on the pieces too.
